Does grease splatter guard make bacon crispier?


Curious if using a grease splatter guard changes how bacon or fried foods turn out. Some say lids make things soggy – does the guard do the same or keep things crispy?

It actually helps keep things crispier than a lid. Lids trap steam and make bacon floppy, but the guard's open mesh lets moisture escape while blocking grease spray. My bacon comes out perfectly crispy every time – no steaming effect at all. Same with fried chicken or potatoes. The fine weave catches droplets without suffocating the food. Mine is stainless with good airflow, so texture stays great. Been frying bacon weekly for ages and it's noticeably better than lid or nothing. This model balances protection and crispiness perfectly – grease splatter guard . Crispy results + clean kitchen.
